Currently pursuing her MFA at the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington, ceramic artist Alwyn O’Brien (Salt Spring Island, BC) was the first recipient of the One of a Kind Show/Gardiner Museum Emerging Artist Award in 2007. Mini Bio Schoolyard Studio is a collaboration between designers Katy Chan and Hilary Dennis. Our love of colour, texture and pattern led us to develop a line of textiles and paper products. Our products are desirable and functional without compromising style.
