Currently pursuing her MFA at the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington, ceramic artist Alwyn O’Brien (Salt Spring Island, BC) was the first recipient of the One of a Kind Show/Gardiner Museum Emerging Artist Award in 2007. Mini Bio Gosia is an award-winning Polish-Canadian illustrator currently living in Toronto. She came to Canada with her family at the age of twelve. Soon after, she began drawing and hasn’t looked back since. She studied illustration at Sheridan College and has been doing freelance illustration and design since graduating . A few years ago, it became apparent that Gosia’s work touches people on a very personal level, and many requests to purchase original work have led her to branch out to painting and sculpture.
