Hand Carved Leather Coasters Workshop with Robin Fitzsimons of Fitzy

Saturday, March 29, 9am to 11am

In this class students will design and make a set of four hand carved leather coasters, learn about the basics of leather craft, the different types of leather, and the best places in the GTA to buy leather craft supplies. This class is great for students of all artistic skill levels.

In this session, student will receive:

Bio: Fitzy was born out of a 365 project where Robin made a  piece of art/design every single day for a year, and blogged about it. After some prompting from friends and family, she decided to start selling some of the pieces she was making everyday, and in January of 2013 she started Fitzy. With a focus on leather goods with clean lines, Fitzy products are designed not only to stand the test of time, but get better with age.

Robin holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Sculpture/Installation from OCAD University, and lives and works in Toronto.
