Check Image size and info
On a PC: On your image file, right mouse click and select Image Properties. Select the Details tab for the details you are looking for.
On a MAC: Open your image file in Preview. Under Tools, select Show Inspector, and the info you need will appear on a pop up window.
Reduce file size
If you have a high res image (at least 300 dpi) that has a file size larger than 1.5 MB. You can try reducing the file size, while keeping its resolution by doing one of the following.
Photoshop: You can reduce the file size by changing the image dimension in Photoshop. Click on Image, then Image Size to make the adjustment.
